Vintage voucher codes for Mother's Day...

Tiny Rose Large Clasp Purse

I thought I’d take the opportunity to tell you about a few of the Mother’s Day voucher codes I’ve encountered recently as there have been more than several that would befit the vintage theme. If you have a mother with exceptionally good taste, then you might as well take advantage of that and go with something a bit different from the usual flowers and choccies this Mother’s Day. Although, there’s always the danger that you’ll end up spending a bit on yourself too in the process. And what a crying shame that would be…

I think I might be only person in the world without a Cath Kidston bag at the moment. I should really rectify that soon. Anyway, don’t let your mother follow my bad example, as there’s quite a few Cath Kidston wares on offer at the moment. Have a look at these Cath Kidston voucher codes and see if there’s anything that might take you mater’s fancy. Personally, I like this Bunch Large Stand Up Tote that’s been reduced from £55 to £25 and this gorgeous little Tiny Rose Clasp Purse that’s a mere £6, down from £12.

If you want a bit more to choose from, or maybe mother dearest isn’t the kitsch floral kind (really?) then this Past Times voucher code might sort you out. They’ve got a rather amazing 25% off all Mother’s Day gifts at this point in time, so maybe pick up a cute little brooch or two, or maybe a nice bit of crockery. I particularly like this Sterling Silver Mother-of-Pearl Lozenge Ring and this Vintage Butterfly Brooch. But if you have a none-jewellery wearing mother like mine, there’s plenty more pretty things to choose from.

I know it’s tempting but please, please, please, pretty please don’t leave the present buying to the very last minute. Do you really want your mother to end up with some hideous bouquet form the petrol station? No, I thought not.

Some shiny shoe voucher codes for you...

Hello again! Thanks you for returning in the hope I might find a few more vintage voucher codes for you. And you’re in luck. Because I have. Shiny shoe ones, if you please. I had a peek at a couple of sales to see what I could come up with and hey presto! It’s amazing what crops up when you doing a bit of vintage-inspired investigating.

Hush Puppies Lucindia
Hush Puppies Bernice
First up, we all love a bit of shoe from Schuh, especially when said shoes come with a rather attractive price tag. I don’t know about you, but I really love Hush Puppies. I had a gorgeous pair that I bought for a wedding. They lasted me ages and were the most comfortable formal shoes I’ve ever shoved my slightly-too-wide feet into. Unfortunately, they got lost travelling back from Australia and much missed they are too, but that’s another story. Anyway, you might have guessed that I’ve found a Schuh voucher code which gets you a bit of a Hush Puppies discount. These Hush Puppies Lucindia High Heels come in an irresistible shade of purple and are now only £29.99, down from £60. And if you want a bit more of an officey look, try these Hush Puppies Bernice Heels, down to £34.99 from £60. And if neither of these take your fancy, they’ve got a whole heap of heavenly Hush Puppies on discount. Just click on the sale link and got to ‘new in sale’.

Paul Smith Shoe Liya Shoes

If you’re budget is slightly bigger (unlike mine) and you fancy a nice little designer discount, use this Soletrader voucher code. They’ve got Paul Smith bargains a-plenty and here’s my pick of the Paul Smith bunch. If I had the spare pounds, then I’d pick up these Paul Smith Liya Shoes for £149.99 (were £185), or these Ted Baker Iveey Shoes are really quite dandy and a quite a bit cheaper at £39 (were £59.99).

At this time of year, there are loads of cold weather reductions, and it still being rather cold gives you all the more reason to take advantage of them. I might even pop back with a few more vintage inspired shoe voucher codes next time as there’s so much out there at the moment. Until then...

Voucher codes for vintage...lampshades. Lovely.

So I’m going to be a little bit self-indulgent with this post and highlight a few voucher codes for vintage inspired…wait for it…lampshades. Yes, lampshades. For the simple reason that I need a new lampshade or two. So there. I would say, if you’ve got oodles of time and you’re after a proper vintage lampshade, or anything else home-related, and you want to get exactly the right item, then it would definitely be worth searching second-hand shops, markets, fairs etc. until you strike gold. BUT, if you haven’t got oodles of time or money and you don’t mind getting something that is vintage-INSPIRED, (rather than the real deal) then you’ve come to the right place...

Dusky Pink Florence Pendant ShadeGreen Sicily Striped PendantOk, so Dunelm Mill might not be the first name that springs to mind when thinking about pretty vintage-type things, but they are exceptionally good value and I’ve found a couple of really good offers that I’m definitely going to be taking advantage of. This Dunelm Mill voucher code has heaps of home discounts with up to 50% off. I’ve found a Green Sicily Striped Pendant Shade and a Dusky Pink Florence Pendant Shade – both are under £5. Just go to the lighting offers page and gawp at the price.

If you’ve got a bit more to spend (I don’t count myself in this group), then I’ve found a Debenhams voucher code for you. Yes, Debenhams. It’s true. Ok, they’re a bit mainstream, but they do stock some rather striking bits and bobs. I love this Ivory Bowed Beaded Lampshade, especially as it’s currently 20% off. Same with this Pack of 3 Easy Fit Frosted Glass Pendants, also at 20% off. Same with the other code – just click on the link, go the Debenhams offers page and search through the lighting offers.

So I hope this post has been TOO specific for you. But seriously, pretty lampshades for under a fiver – how can you resist? The simple answer to that question is YOU CAN’T.
You’re welcome ;)

Very arty, very vintage voucher codes...

Didn’t I tell you I’d be back with some more vintage voucher codes? Well, I just spent this morning sifting through a bit of vintage art (and a lovely way to spend the morning it is too), and I’ve found a couple of offers to get you excited… Hopefully. These are just a few of my personal favourites, but if you don’t share the same taste as me, just go straight to the sites and there’s plenty more to choose from.

We’ve all heard of Oliver Bonas, yes? The lovely boutiquey-type high street store that does quite a nice line on beautiful things? Well, if you don’t live near one or fancy saving a bit more money, I found this Oliver Bonas voucher code that gets you £5 off your first online order. And yes, they do clothes etc, but they’ve also got a decent range of homewares too, including (you’re guessed it) some vintage wall art. Check out their framed limited edition range. My picked is the gorgeous A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies. And if you’re got a smaller gap on your wall that needs filling, then there’s these Bus Blind Frames too.

If you’re after a larger poster selection choose from, then I discovered this voucher code
which gets you 15% off your order until the end of February. They’ve got hundreds of posters, prints and stretched canvas art in all styles, but my attention was particularly drawn to the vintage section, as you might have already guessed. I picked out these two – a great Harper’s Bazaar cover print and a 1933 Chicago World’s Fair poster. But they’ve got so many, you could easily spend hours on this site. From Alfonse Mucha to propaganda-style prints, there’s something for every vintage nut.

I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to focus on for my next post, so I’m going to leave it as a surprise! Anyway, let me know what you think of these vintage voucher codes and I’ll be back in a day or two…

Introducing some very lovely vintage voucher codes...

By their very nature, the perfect vintage items are pretty difficult to track down.  To get the look you want, every internet search is going to be subjective. So this is why I’ve started this blog – to highlight all the best vintage voucher codes that I can find, whether they’re clothes, shoes, bags, picture frames, lampshades…whether it’s vintage or retro inspired, I’ll track down a saving on it for you to help you out a bit. So I hope you enjoy the blog and any feedback is much appreciated!

First up, here’s a couple of sales from a couple of your (potentially) favourite shops with a couple of lovely spots I found for you perusal…

Yes, yes, I know there’s a branch of Accessorize on nearly every street corner, but it’s still worth checking online for a few choice Accessorize voucher codes. This morning, I’ve found a gorgeous Pippa Pleat Lock Shoulder Bag that’s been reduced from £30 to £15, and even better, a Stace Clutch that is now only £4.80 (originally £16). I’ll definitely be buying one of those for under a fiver.

Louche Roberta Check DressIf you live in our fair and frantic capital, chances are a high street not a million miles away might have a branch of Joy on it. There’s nothing quite like having a browse through a branch, but if you don’t live in London (or Brighton, or Edinburgh), then their online deals aren’t too shabby. I noticed this Joy voucher code can get you up to 70% off some nice items – a Louche Roberta Check Dress is reduced to £30 and an 18andEast Beaded Stef Shift has been knocked down from £70 to £30.

If these aren't you thing, don’t worry, I’ll be back soon with some more vintage voucher codes. And it won’t just be all fashion – I might find a few retro posters and a bit of wall art for you next time!
