Joyous Jewellery at Fabulous Prices...

Got a wedding coming up? I don’t mean your own. If you were buying jewellery for your own wedding, I would imagine you’d be after the genuine vintage article, rather than my vintage-inspired bargains. Not that there’s anything wrong with my vintage-inspired bargains. Because they perfect to accessorize any dapper wedding reception outfits or just general dandy summer wardrobe choices. Here’s a few of my finds for the week on the vintage jewellery voucher code front…

VINTAGE HEART NECKLACE & BRACELET SETA quick look at this up to 75% off Warehouse discount voucher found me a lovely combination at a rather attractive price…this Vintage Heart Necklace and Bracelet Set was £10 but is now only £6.

Pattern Cuff Bangle - MULTI
Circles Necklace (Green) - GREENI can’t believe I’ve only just discovered Ollie & Nic. It might well be my new favourite site, judging by today’s discovery. This gorgeous Pattern Cuff Bangle is 50% off with this up to 50% off Ollie & Nicdiscount coupon, reduced from £24 to £12. And while you’re at it, pair with a Circles Necklace, reduced from £25 to £12.50. But hold off for half an hour, just to give me a chance to order mine first. I called dibs, after all.

Photo ofOliver Bonas is a favourite of mine already, but sometimes they can be a teensy bit out of my price range. Not today though! I still can’t quite believe the price tag on this one – an Enamel Shell Necklace for only £3! But make sure you order using one of these Oliver Bonas free online vouchers – you can either get £5 off your first order or 10% off your purchases. Obviously, you’ll be forced to buy more pretty things if you opt for the former, but that’s a hardship you’ll just have to incur I’m afraid…

Join me next week for more vintage loveliness. Let’s hope this weather hangs around so I can continue with the summery business!

My favourite wall art...

If you’ve just moved into a new abode and you feel that something is lacking somewhat…well, maybe you might need to unpack a few boxes. Kidding! But if it still feels like a house rather than a home, there is one simple thing you could do to transform your unwelcoming walls into something more individual – just hangs a few prints and posters. It’s that simple. Of course you have to go out and buy picture hooks and frames too, but it’s well worth it, trust me. And it doesn’t have to cost a fortune – buy a few great value vintage prints online and be smug in your savings glow…

This AllPosters.co.uk discount voucher saves you 15% on your order of very vintage pics. I’ve chosen a couple of striking ones – one classic, one not so much. It’s been in the news recently for not the happiest of reasons, but you can celebrate the HMV heyday with this classic ‘His Master’s Voice’ image. And if you want a foreign climbs print with a difference, I’ve found this ‘Train Through Rocky Mountains piece that I adore.

clockwork orange I was lucky enough to inherit a Breakfast at Tiffany’s poster from a previous tenant of my flat, but if you’ve not been blessed like I have, take a look at this GB Posters free online voucher that saves you 15% off your…er, posters. They’ve got the classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s image, of course, but also I took a shine to this Clockwork Orange one.

My favourite charity shop find
Next time you do a bit of sightseeing, pick up a few vintage postcards from the museum or gallery gift shop. You can buy basic glass frames for peanuts, so just arrange 4 of them on the wall in a block and hey presto, you’ve got a bit of vintage wall art! And it goes without saying that charity shops are a must-visit if you’re looking for things to put on your bare walls.

Come back next week for some more top online vintage picks…

Desirable dresses for those on an VERY tight budget...

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a post about dresses and I think we all agree there is no limit to the amount of times I can write about cheap dresses. Can you guess what I’m going to write about today?...

Well, first off, I’d like to point out that I won’t be mentioning any genuine vintage items. This week, it’s all about being on a VERY tight budget and getting that vintage look for peanuts. So lets visit a couple of easily accessible high street names that are famed for their rather enticing prices, as well as some on-trend vintage-inspired items.

 Shift Dress
Monochrome Shift Dress - £16
Soon Print Cotton Prom Dress
Soon Print Cotton Prom Dress - £22
First up it’s Matalan discount vouchers. Yes Matalan. Please don’t scoff at my choice – you’ll see why I picked them in one tiny second. For starters, they have dresses from just £4. Unfortunately not the ones I’ve picked out, but I thought that might grab your attention. My two choices are great value and rather gorgeous though. This Monochrome Shift Dress is an absolute bargain at £16, coming a very close second to this Soon Print Cotton Prom Dress for as astonishing £22.

Butterfly sundress
Butterfly Sundress - £25
Next up, M and Co voucher offers. I used to think this was a shop that only appealed to my mother. Oh, more fool me – it is an absolute haven for pretty things, including this brand new Butterfly Sundress for £25 and this Floral Print Prom Dress for £39. Yes, we’re all about the prom dress this week, even though I’m well beyond the age of prom attendance and I never actually went to one this first time around. Thinking about it, this might have some influence over my obsession with them now.

Floral Print Prom Dress - £39
So what shall I write about next week? Dresses again, probably. But there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that whatsoever. God bless the prom dress!
